Those original wooden pews are as hard as people warn you, and they still face the curved stage under the stained-glass windows. I took the daytime tour on Rep. John Lewis Way before a show and walked the backstage hall with the Opry portraits, then staff cleared us out when load-in started.

Beautiful, historical venue that I feel honored to see a show at! I have been wanting to go for years and can't wait for the next show I can see there. The staff were friendly and I loved the 100 year Opry exhibit and gift shop. It's a must see if you're visiting Music City!
